Achievements and Celebrations...
Had a wonderful evening last night
John took me out for a fantastic meal to celebrate clocking up 2000 counselling hours. It has taken 8 years to complete this, and although there is nothing especially significant in this number, we felt it would be a good idea to mark such an accomplishment. It represents a huge body of work, and the fact that there are 185 people out there whose lives have connected with mine, and hopefully have been helped in some way by this.
I’d like to put on record my immeasurable thanks to John, and the rest of all the family, for their support during intensive periods of training, and that continued, unflinching support on a daily basis. There are times when knowing who and what I come home to, and that sweet constant presence of Christ, is all that keeps me going.
For this celebration meal, we went out to Muddy Waters, the “restaurant in the barge” on the river Chelmer. Lovely evening, amazing food, very leisurely and relaxed.
John also gave me 20 stunning roses, one for every 100 counselling hours – such a romantic!
Looking forward to sharing the Word with you this Easter Sunday – thanks for the prayers – please keep them up!
Pat’s Thought for the Day:
As we approach Good Friday, and Easter Sunday, let us reflect on the fact that Christ’s accomplishment is to be celebrated every way we know how – his Life, Death and Resurrection affect every soul on the planet, not just in an 8-year slot, but for Eternity. And Father God justly rewarded Him with the Name that is above every Name…..

Not caught up on blogging for a bit...
Really glad both you and John enjoyed Muddy Waters it is on our shortlist for a special occasion.
I think it is wonderful that you decided to celebrate 2000 counselling hours. You have made a huge impact on the lives of others and not just those that have seen you professionally. Fantastic!
Congratulations, Pat!
A great sermon too...

The video clip on sunday was to tie in with the fact that the only "jealousy" we should have is a jealousy for souls. God is "jealous" to have every soul on earth, and heaven rejoices when any one of God's children gets home to heaven. Anthony got home to heaven very recently, as have otehrs we have known personally n the last few months. We should do all we can to ensure that heaven is populated with as many souls as possible.
I also think it was good to acknowledge that we do not need to be jealous of someone else's gift or ministry - such as Anthony's - but rather to rejoice that such gifts are used for the extension fo God's Kingdom.
